DIGGA’s Grand Expansion

It is with great pleasure that we can announce that the DIGGA Foundation has received a national grant to expand its brand new leisure service, DIGGA Fritid, into three new cities; Kristiansund, Volda and Trondheim! From September 2023, Ålesund’s favourite free-time activity for children is going nation-wide!

Founded in Ålesund in 2021, The DIGGA Foundation works to establish activities within audiovisual content creation for children and young people. The goal of the foundation is to establish free audiovisual leisure programs in as many places as possible in Norway, with aspirations of expanding worldwide in the near future. DIGGA believes in creating an outlet for young people to learn and become passionate about topics such as sustainability, ethics and social development through communication, content creation and social media. 

Bigger opportunity

DIGGA’s offering includes a number of activities in addition to the free-time course including an online training platform, certification of instructors, courses and learning plans for schools and in the near future, an app to serve as an online learning portal. 

With DIGGA’s expansion into Volda, Kristiansund and Trondheim, we expect to have over 100 young people enrolled in our free-time activities!
